“Ukulele for Children” series was written by Christina to develop music literacy in young children (ages 6+) and foster creativity while introducing formal music theory concepts. The songs were written for a ukulele with a low fourth string (linear) tuning in order to expand the melodic range, and introduce note positions on the treble staff and their physical placement on the instrument in a logical way that will make sense to children right away.
